• Images you upload — processed in memory to find visually similar shoes. We do not permanently store your uploaded images.
• Email address — only if you voluntarily provide it to unlock full results or receive alerts.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, search activity, and device/browser information, collected via PostHog analytics.

2. How we use your data

• To provide visual shoe search results.
• To improve the product and understand how people use it.
• To send you emails if you opted in (e.g., price drop alerts). You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• PostHog — product analytics (anonymous usage tracking).
• Vercel — frontend hosting.
• Railway — backend API hosting.
• Google Gemini — AI-powered material analysis (product data only, not personal data).

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (via PostHog) to distinguish unique visitors and understand usage patterns. These are functional and analytics cookies — we do not serve advertising or sell your data.

5. Data retention

Uploaded images are processed in real-time and not stored after your session. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in accordance with PostHog's data retention policies.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
